jesca's tote

Anyway, this is working out quite well for me so far. The strap drop length seems low, but it isn't at all, and it's quite comfortable and stays put. It's also got a pocket for my phone and another pocket that I use for my iPod, plus a small zip pocket for my crack pipe and other unmentionables. Otherwise, no large dividers or anything, and it's a pretty unstructured, large space, so sometimes things do get a bit jumbled in there. But I can easily stow my notebook (not full-sized), wallet and modest lunch & snacks with room for Palm, bills, checkbook, etc. For Christmas last year, a coworker gave me this really tiny, very lightweight umbrella that doubles as a parasol (it's made of this reflective material) that she picked up in Singapore for Christmas. I suppose parasols are more useful in climates closer to the equator, but the really nice thing about the umbrella is that it folds flat, rather than cylindrical, so it slips in my tote with all this other stuff very nicely.
Overall, I'd say this tote works great for me--but I never can shake that feeling that there could be something better out there...

That's a great bag! I love Tano handbags, thanks to you! I bought myself 2 during the fall/winter. I bought one at this cute accessories boutique by my place, called Fem, and they carried lots of Tano handbags, but they've since closed. =( I bought the second one at Shebang on North Ave., they don't carry too many Tano's, but they carry lots of other cute handbags!
