Juicy!

OK, so I had a doctor's appointment downtown yesterday and thought I'd stop off at Nordstrom afterward to return a few tops. Like a zombie seeking out live flesh, I was irresistibly pulled to the handbag area. Tried on a few and settled on this one from Juicy called "Steffie." They had it in black as well (also comes in white), but I like this dark camel color best. The strap is really funky--it's kind of heavy and solid, and it seems to do well in terms of staying put on the shoulder. I think it might be made of wood or something--who knows? Anyway, it felt good with a t-shirt on, but not quite sure how comfortable it would be in a tank top or something "skimpier." It does have a soft leather "wrapping" around it, so it's not like naked wood or whatever on your skin. Either way, I wouldn't mind finding out. :) This picture really isn't very good, but it's the only one I could find on the Web so far. As you can see, the charm that comes on it is kind of goofy. I'd replace it with a big fat "J"--a blingy one, of course! Since there's another charm chain, I'd have to find something else, maybe a little Scottie dog? Ah, daydreams.

i have never been partial to juicy bags - a few are ok, but too busy and bulby in most cases. i do think you need a camel/tan bag - every girl needs one in her collection.
I've never been too keen on Juicy handbags either, for the same reasons as Mee Ok, but this one looks great! I think it'll look fantastic with jeans and a tank! And I agree, camel/tan was a good choice.
Yeah, I know a lot of Juicy bags are pretty tacky--and PRICEY! I've been fixated on them for the big "J" charms on them. I think this one is pretty tame though. The scrunchy elastic on the outside is on both sides of the bag, and they actually open up to outer pockets--think I left that detail out. So nice easy access. BUT the price tag on this baby is $425--I think I will have to schedule some more overtime sessions to save up for this one!!!
