Counter: Favorite Concealor

The T. LeClerc fluid concealor is currently my favorite one. I use 03 fonce right now - seems to work well with my coloring.

I think the best thing about this concealor is that it's not cake or tacky. It's a very smooth liquid that blends very nicely in my skin. Lately, I've had combination skin (oily and dry) so I really needed to find something that wouldn't just sit on my face.
I've also heard that some of the Benefit concealors are good too, but when I tried them at the Macy's counter, I found them to be too sticky and cakey.
Anyway, been a while since I made a post - mostly I just lurk on this blog. I plan on posting more of my favorite things soon.

OOooohhh, I will have to try this. From the way you describe it, it sounds a lot like my current favorite concealer, Trish McEvoy. The only reason I'm considering a switch is b/c I'm starting to think mine isn't giving me enough coverage. I feel like it's disappearing into my skin and not doing any concealing.

I think the T leclerc can do that too - but my make up consultant at the Philly BlueMercury informed me that layering and feathering the concealer helps to get coverage. I mainly use it for the occasional blemish or spot, and sometimes for under the eye. I tend to use a brightening stick for under the eye instead of concealer (Benefit Eye bright pencil).

i would have to agree about Benefit concealer--well at least F.Y...eye! like a giant mud cake, clumpy and gross. have been OK w/my Amazing concealer, but it's coming to an end and i'll probably look elsewhere to replace it. my aesthetician/waxer rhonda uses bare escentuals mineral powder concealer and recommended it. not quite sure how that will work, but reviews i've read are overwhelmingly positive. besides my brow powder, my concealer is the only thing i use on a daily basis that is "unhealthy" for my skin--meaning i HAVE to take it off. so i like the idea of eliminating another product like that from my routine.

at any rate, if bare escentuals doesn't work out, i'll know to try one of these other fave brands!

I got a Bare Escentuals sample - it's ok. i don't get it. I need the lesson. The theory is that the brush circle motion and your skin oils are supposed to melt the minerals into your skin...i haven't perfected it so it looks like i have powder on my face. i have a few friends who use it and who swear by it. maybe get a consultation at Sephora!
