i *heart* flip-flops
On Sunday, while shopping at Kohl's for bathroom towels, I passed the women's shoe department. Normally, I don't even give their shoe department a passing glance, but this pair of New Balance flip-flops caught my eye.
I tried them on and quickly discovered that they were the most comfortable pair of casual sandals I've ever had on my feet! And they were only $14.99!
When I got home and added them to my collection, I realized that these were the SIXTH pair of thong-sandals that I've bought in the past three months! I am a thong-sandal-whore! (I didn't see anything wrong with that story from last year about the college girls who were invited to the White House and all wore flip-flops...seemed perfectly okay to me, hahaha.)
Anyway, I so did not need another pair of flip-flops. But I'm addicted to this type of sandal. They're flat, they're flimsy, they offer no-arch-support, and they do nothing to elongate the legs, but I love them!
Oh well. Whether I *needed* them or not, they have quickly become my favorite pair, at least based on comfort. They've bumped the Havaiana's and Reef's out of the top spots in that category. And since we're on the topic of favorites, these are my favorites for when heels would be too dressy but the rubber flip-flops are too-too plain/casual:

I've bought at least 3 pairs of super-cute sandals with heels/wedges that are 10 times more appropriate for going out, yet I will always pick these first!
