Preliminary Analysis
So I'm always window shopping online for handbags, etc and these are my latest interests. I think I'm currently in the market for a big shopper tote (leather), a cross-body bag (hands free for travel) and hobo bags of course.
This Marc Jacobs bag totally appeals to my obsession with work appropriate bags, although I don't even work from an office anymore. I think I just like conservative, yet updated black handbags. I'm forever looking for one to replace my old Kenneth Cole that I love but has become too worn out to carry.
Here's another MJ bag that looks interesting because it's a cross-body bag and hobo, but I'm sure there are other ones that look better - please post if you have recommendations! Actually, I wonder if the longer strap is long enough to carry cross body. hmmmm.
This is the last bag that I am fond of. I think I'm also very much drawn to the cognac color - really rich tan/brown. I think my obsession with red handbags has been replaced by this cognac one.
I have many more shopping pages to peruse. I did purchase some patent leather Coach bags (I get these 15% off discounts from them, so it's hard to resist shopping there) that I really like and that have been very practical.
This is the bag in green, but I have it in a stunning purply-magenta.
Now I need to look at shopper totes :)

nice selection! i do wonder if that "cross-body" strap is long enough--it looks kinda short in the picture. LOVE the cognac bag!
VERY nice selection! How do you choose?? I have a similar bag to the black Marc Jacobs, but mine is Marc by Marc Jacobs and it's yellow. It's almost identical in design, and I'm sure much less expensive than Marc Jacobs. It's wonderfully comfortable to carry around and super spacious. It also has 2 of my favorite features: a single shoulder strap and outside pockets. eLuxury.com has it in black.
I recently bought the MJ Cross body bag in black. tan/cognac wasn't that nice in person. I love it - it's long enough to go around across body. Had a Nordstrom gift card I finally cashed in!
