Outlets

I love shopping at the outlets. One of my favorite trips was with Xtine and Jes in Aurora. I finally found the Premium Outlet outside of Philly and have to say...that was 8 hours well spent!

I'm not a huge Kate Spade fan - I do like her bags, but don't seek them out. At the outlet, however, I am more than happy to peruse her wares...I walked out with two items. A tote bag I can use for a Laptop bag - which I recently carried and found to be quite comfortable - and a clutch wallet - which was a splurge because frankly I do not need a new wallet.















I've been into making my own tote bags lately. The going green thing is quite contagious. I have a couple of Eco bags and Whole Foods bags that I use religiously, but could use some smaller totes to carry around, rather than dealing with my heavy satchel.

Here's one that I'm attempting to make. I'll be using a different fabric though, but a light weight summer sling bag seems like a fun project.
